Oakwood School

Full uniform is worn by all children from Reception upwards. Children in Nursery and Kindergarten are asked to wear a school sweatshirt.

The Oakwood School uniform shop is operated by Simmonds, one of the UK's leading school outfitters and managed by Jackie Sage and Rosie Matchan, two mothers from the School.


The hours of opening are:

08.25 - 09.25 am Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

The shop is conveniently located on site, opposite the swimming pool. The area has plenty of parking.

Children are expected to respect the uniform guidelines at all times. A full uniform list is available on request from the School Office as well as from the uniform shop. It can also be downloaded from the website. All uniform should be clearly named.

Girls' hair should be tied back and boys' hair should ideally not be longer than the collar. No styling products or extreme styles are allowed at school. No nail varnish is permitted.

The on-line shop has now launched and is available to all parents. Please visit www.simmonds-ltd.com/Oakwood - the facility is open 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. All items can either be delivered to the school shop or the parents' home address.

The Friends of Oakwood run a small second hand uniform shop which is open once a fortnight. Details of opening times can be obtained from the School Office.
