Art & DT at Oakwood

Oakwood pupils enjoy an exciting and varied programme of Art & Design Technology. Rock carving, body casting, ceramics, silk painting, Oriental art, kite making and glass etching are just some of the activities that the children experience. 

Visits from local artists and sculptors enhance and extend the children's work.

The Annual Oakwood Art Exhibition is a chance for every child from Reception upwards to select a piece of their work to be exhibited. The event is judged by the renowned Pallant House Gallery, who have said that the standard of work is some of the highest they have seen in schools.
