Pallant House success!

November 2009
Many congratulations to the ten pupils whose wonderful illustrations for the 'Put yourself in my shoes' poem have been chosen to be hung at the world-famous Pallant House Gallery as part of their "Painted Poems" competition and exhibition.
The pupils have been invited to the exhibition opening and prize-giving ceremony on Thursday night and their work will be displayed in the Gallery until the end of November.

The 2009 Oakwood Art exhibition was another great success, heralded as an exceptional display of talent by the Pallant House Gallery judges.   • Oakwood School to team with Pallant House

    Oakwood School in Chichester entered the Greenpower Challenge at Goodwood last weekend. The children in Year 6 at Oakwood spent two terms in an after school club building two goblin kit cars and were lucky enough to race on the track at good wood during the annual event.   • Seaford Art Exhibition - success for Stephen and Katie

    Francesca Coulson, a year 2 pupil at Oakwood School in Chichester, has triumphed in the Daily Telegraph Christmas card competition.   • Mosaic Magic - Dick Martin visits Oakwood School

    What a way to start the new autumn half term. In came Dick Martin, sculptor and artist laden with brightly coloured glass mosaic tiles, cement and bags of messy grout.
