Parents at Oakwood School raised over £2600 for Chestnut Tree House, a children’s hospice in Poling, near Arundel. The money was raised at the annual Summer Ball held in the grounds of the school on the last day of the summer term. The theme of this year’s ball was ‘Bright and Beautiful’ and funds were raised for the hospice and for the school with a silent auction, by selling balloons containing mystery prizes and by a fabulous live auction on the night itself.
