A Place to Grow

Oakwood School offers the very best educational journey, combining academic excellence with support and encouragement. The celebration of each child as happy, confident and independent individuals is central to our ethos and our strong community and family values underpin this.

We celebrate the skills and achievements of each of our pupils not only in academics but also on the sports fields and courts, on the stage, in the Art Room and in our outdoor environment. We recognise that children learn in different ways and that providing a broad curriculum (including core subjects but also Food Technology, Humanities, Design Technology, Music and Drama) allows us to appreciate the strengths and gifts of our pupils.

We use our beautiful woodland to encourage both a love of nature but also to ensure our pupils appreciate our natural world and commit to using our resources wisely in line with our school commitment to sustainability.
