Oakwood Summer Party - Auction Prize Donations Request
Planning is now well underway for the Oakwood Summer Party (discounted early bird tickets are coming soon!) and Year 2 parents would like to ask the wider school community for auction prize donations. We are on the hunt for auction prizes, large and small!
- Does your work lend you the opportunity to offer a behind the scenes tour? Or a ‘get involved’ experience?
- Do you have a beach hut standing empty for a day or two this summer?
- Do you have a friend with a skill who might be willing to donate something for us to include? For example, a butcher happy to offer an hour-long intro to butchery, or a chef who could offer the chance to shadow in a professional kitchen.
- Anything and everything that feels normal to you could be something another family would love to try out!
In the past things like riding on a combine harvester and staying in an empty holiday home have been huge earners for the charity auction so please do give this some thought and let us know what might be possible.
If you would like to donate an auction prize, please contact one of the party organisers Suzie Brown - suziemebrown@gmail.com
Thank you so much in advance for your support.
