Champagne and Shakespeare Evening - This Sunday at 7pm!
We look forward to welcoming those who have booked tickets, to an evening of Shakespeare, with all proceeds going to support The Nest Project at Chichester Festival Theatre.
We will enjoy performances by Oakwood Parents and Royal Shakespeare Company Actors Edward Bennett, Lisa Dillon and Rupert Evans, and our Head of Performing Arts, Mini Elliot.
Please arrive at The Heritage Room at 7pm to enjoy a glass of fizz from Ashling Park whilst watching our talented performers.

'Here to Help' Parent Session - Tuesday 4th March, 2.30-4pm
We are delighted to be welcoming Soli Lazarus to Oakwood next Tuesday 4th March, from 2.30-4pm in the Heritage Room of the Main House, as a guest speaker for this term’s ‘Here to Help’ parent session.
The theme for this parent session is 'Supporting children with ADHD', which is a topic of interest for all parents.

Goodwoof 2025 Sir Michael Morpurgo Storywriting Competition
The Goodwoof Team at Goodwood have contacted us with details of a children's dachshund-themed short-story competition. Richmond the dachshund is about to go on an adventure - what happens to him is entirely up to you!
The winner of the competition will win 50 Michael Morpurgo books, plus 50 books for their school AND a family ticket to Goodwoof for Saturday 17th May. Four runners-up will also receive family tickets to Goodwoof, which is running the weekend of Saturday 17th-Sunday 18th May.

The competition opens TODAY (Friday 28th February) and runs until Friday 28th March. Final entries will be judged by Sir Michael Morpurgo himself, and a winner will be announced by Monday 15th April.

Camp Little Oaks & CSS Activities Booking Forms
Camp Little Oaks is now available to book for Easter. Please complete the booking form below. Camp Little Oaks is internally-run, providing holiday care for Oakwood pupils in Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception.
Further to Mrs Tarry's letter sent on 3rd February, we would like to confirm that for Easter Break, and the forthcoming May Half Term and Summer Break, Reception children should now join CSS Activities to enjoy their fun and age-appropriate camp provision.
CSS Activities are now taking bookings for ages 4-11+ children for all breaks including Summer 2025. Book now using the link below. CSS Activities Holiday Camp is an externally-run provider available for all children in the local area.

IAPS Swimming Regional Qualifiers
Well done to the following Year 5 & 6 pupils who represented Oakwood at the IAPS Swimming Qualifiers at Windlesham House: Chloe, Milo, Marcos, Benji, Dylan and Bertie. Wonderful efforts from all, and we eagerly await their results at the start of next term.
IAPS Netball Regional Qualifiers
Well done to our U11 netball team (Mattie, Katie, Lottie, Sophia, Annabelle, Eliza & Sylvie) for their outstanding performance at IAPS Regional Netball placing 3rd out of 20 schools, narrowly missing out on the Nationals with the top 2 qualifying.

Friday Assembly Presentation
This morning we celebrated our Chichester Festival Speech and Drama Cup Winners in assembly. We watched them perform their cup-winning pieces, and Mrs Bradbury presented them with their cups. We are very proud of them, and all participants who have taken part in the Festival programme this year.
