Chichester Food Bank - Easter Kids Lunch Packs Campaign

Oakwood is delighted to support the Chichester District Foodbank's Easter Kids Lunch Packs campaign. We have a food collection basket in the front hall of the Main House and one located near the Pre-Prep Courtyard. We would be very grateful for any donations of items that go towards making up much-needed lunch packs to be distributed to families in need over the Easter break.
The foodbank is aiming to collect 1000 of each of the items on the following list:
- Tins of ham or other meats
- Tins of vegetables
- Tins of soup
- Packets of biscuits
- A pack of lunchbox treats (e.g. muesli bars)
- Jars of sandwich spread
- Single toothbrushes and toothpaste
The Chichester District Foodbank knows how crucial it is for children to have nutritious meals, especially during school breaks. That’s why they offer Kids Lunch Packs, providing enough food for lunches during the holidays to support low-income families.
Who are Kids Lunch Packs for?
These packs are for families in the Chichester District with school-aged children who receive free school meals. Their goal is to ensure no child goes hungry when school is closed, offering vital support to those facing financial hardship.
