Oakwood's Annual Charity Bake-Off - 'Blondies & Brownies'
Next week is the first round of our annual Charity Bake-Off, hosted by Miss Lee.
The challenge this year is to create delicious traybake 'Blondies or Brownies.' There is no restriction on size or flavours - the more delicious and creative, the better.
The first round of judging will take place next Tuesday, and the bakes will be judged for taste, presentation and originality by the Oakwood Catering Team, Miss Lee and Mrs Bradbury.
For all those who are entering the first round of the event, to raise money for our school charities, £3 per entry will be added to the school bill of each child submitting a bake. Thank you for your support with this fundraising.
Finalists from this first round will then be invited to prepare their terrific traybakes in the Food Tech Suite at school on Tuesday 6th May (using school equipment under supervision by Miss Lee). These bakes will then be judged by two visiting judges who work in the local Catering Industry, and the winner will be announced at school during the afternoon of final's day.
