The first steps in an Oakwood education
Toddler Activity Afternoon
Join us in October for a wonderful opportunity for your and your Pre-School child to come and see our Nursery, meet our staff and for your child to have a play and become more familiar with our setting. We will soon be setting the date for this event. All Welcome!
The Little Oaks environment
The Nursery is accommodated in its own cosy building, and the Kindergarten classrooms are situated in a converted stables block around a busy and vibrant courtyard. Little Oaks children make full use of the school facilities such as the gymnasium, theatre and wonderful playing fields and woodlands.
Our Pre-School staff
Little Oaks Pre-School staff are all qualified and have a wealth of experience in Early Years Education. We maintain a ratio of 1:5 in Nursery and 1:8 in Kindergarten and we are proud of how well our staff know the children and their individual needs and interests. Staff welcome regular open communication with parents to ensure there is a strong link between home and school with every child benefiting from having a 'Key Person'.
We are open 50 weeks of the year
Oakwood offers wrap around care from 7.45am – 6pm within the academic year and in school holidays. We recognise that working parents rely on this, therefore, we offer Breakfast Club, After School Care and Activities and provision for 50 weeks of the year.
